alrights today's the second day of my work. it sucks. now i really understand how do the surveyors at orchard road feel. but seriously i mean at least could you be kind enough to listen to what i have to say even before walking off and rejecting me?
i'm not asking money from you so what's so scary about it. its for the sake of voting your favourite charity organization and how difficult is that? furthermore its a lucky draw coupon too. so i gain the commission from the completed coupon and you stand a chance to win a car. both of us are in a win-win situation and Singaporeans just have to reject me before i can finish what i have to say.
but of course to avoid irritating people i just follow them for less than 5 steps and if they still reject me, ok i'll look for a new one. the point is i tried all means and ways to stop people but they just can't be bothered to listen what i have to say. maybe i should put up a sign saying, every completed coupon you receive $1 LOL.
this way at least i don't go to people, people COME to me. from this rate i'm gonna earn just enough each day to cover my expenses that i spent for the day and oh guess what, i got chased away by a sercurity guard from EXPO and got chased by another one at tampines and i was stuck at the bus interchange.
but of course sometimes there ARE really kind-hearted people. i just realised i love to approach malay adults i don't know why but i feel that they are more patient in a way than singaporean chinese are. and there was this malay girl whom i met at EXPO she's just 22 this year and when i stopped her, she thought it was a donation and walked away but when she took a second look and realised that it was a survey, she came back to me and helped me fill up the coupon and when i realised that she's that young i kindly rejected her and she apologised profusely to me too. i meant its really really RARE to sight such people on the streets nowadays who are willing to just lend you a minute of their time. oh the girl was rather pretty too! just that she was 4 years older than me and i didn't copy her number down to my phone. damn! hahahha kidding!
its gonna be another day with the sunshine. always hope for a better tomorrow ((:
