goodness..
before i start ranting on all the pek chek things i encountered yesterday.. which explains my disappearance, i would like to thank a few people.. mainly they are,
my dad ( for helping me with the reboot problem )
my sis ( for helping me with my internet connection )
robin ( for trying to help me with my comp and following me to comex )
starhub ( lol )
and last but not least whoever that i made calls to and tried to help me out with it. THANX A BUNCH!
first and foremost, i would like to start it off with myself going to comex with robin and enduring the super duper boring bus ride that would rot your ass. reached there started touring around the booths collecting flyers and all. squeezed together with all the kiasu singaporeans who gian all the discounted stuffs. finally reached my linksys booth and got myself a new USB Network Adaptor. walked around to help robin's sis scout for a laptop with blah blah blah functions (shan't elaborate on it). met debra and found her working for ASUS so if anyone is interested in getting yourself a laptop can always go there and look for her tomorrow during the last day of the sales.
reached home with an "enthu" mood to get everything set up and done before i head for the gym. in the end i can't even reboot my comp and that's where my dad came into the picture and helped me out with the system restore thingy. now my comp is all up and ready for use again. next i installed my NA properly this time. crap installation wise is done but now i can't use it. i can't seem to gain access to my router because i needed my MAC address. now.. THIS MAC ADDRESS IS THE ONE GIVING ME ALL THE PROBLEMS. initally i looked up at my connection and took a WRONG MAC address and ASSUMED that it was the right one. so i actually paniced and wondered what really went wrong. so my sis called up starhub to help me enquire about the problem and got it settled. next i went on to call my friends for help with the MAC address and yea! thankfully thomas told me to search under the box of my NA and there i found my MAC address! so damn happy. anyway don't wanna be too draggy with the incident since its over.
leaving the pek chek things aside, anyone got job kang tao can pull me along or not??
